Select pieces from an extensive series I created over the span of a year. This series is about hair and the aesthetic and metaphorical properties it has. It contains intricate, whimsical renderings of hair representing something other than hair itself. My hair imagery is usually a commentary on life, death, and the cyclical nature of human relationships. My work has frequently contained some allusion to these subjects, and this particular body of work has allowed me to explore these subjects thoroughly.
